Opening Reception

Sunday 10 February 18:30 at the Menzies Hotel

Dinners

lnformal Dinners Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 February

Rather than a formal conference dinner, delegates will be able to choose to go to informal dinners at local restaurants where group discounts have been negotiated.  This will ensure that if you would like to keep costs down but still enjoy a quality meal you will be able to do so.  Please ensure that you notify the conference desk of your intentions by Monday lunchtime for both meals.

Monday 11th February - The Löwenbräu Keller is Sydney's most well known, authentic Bavarian restaurant. They offer delicious and hearty Bavarian cuisine and quality imported biers in a traditional atmosphere. Here, the emphasis is on enjoying the cuisine as well as having pure Bavarian fun – right in the heart of The Rocks.  From 7pm we will be able to enjoy the Oom Pah Pah band who will perform hat dances, knee slapping shows and cow bell performances.
Where:  Löwenbräu Keller, Corner of Playfair & Argyle Streets, The Rocks
     When:  From 6.30pm
     Appetizer:  Home baked bavarian pretzel
     Entree:  Freshly peeled prawns
Mains:  A selection of sausages, meatloaf, chicken schnitzel, oven roasted pork knuckle, kassler, mashed potato and, of course, sauerkraut all served on a platter for the table with side dishes of salads (vegetarian options are available).
Desert:  Warm sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce.

Tuesday 12th February - The Orient Hotel is located on the corner of George and Argyle streets in The Rocks.  The Orient Hotel has been a landmark in the historic Rocks district of Sydney since 1844 and has been a favourite watering hole for generations of Sydneysiders.  At 6.30pm you will enjoy a two course sit down meal and at 8pm sharp the group with leave the premises to take part in a mystery event.  This event will take in some of the colourful, and at times macabre, history of The Rocks where you will learn of Sydney's colonial past and hear about the very foundations of the city.  There is a little bit of walking so be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
Where:  The Orient Hotel, corner of George and Argyle Streets, The Rocks
     When:  From 6.30pm
Entree:  The Chef's selection of cold and warm tastes to share.
Mains:  Choice of Pumpkin Risotto with sage, spinach and pine nuts or pan fried Atlantic salmon with ratatouille and lemon.
